Forty year old fathers squeeze in a quick beer on the way back from the grocery store while the kids are napping. Or at least this one does.

    Double Dry-hopped Imperial New England IPA. It takes a breath just to say it. It was damned delicious though. Took a 4-pack home.

    Half the people I work with are in Philadelphia, and two are in California. Meanwhile, all our servers are on UTC. Lots of conversions.

    I don't drink beer but every time I see these frothy, good-looking little things, I want to drink it all the way down. Maybe the quality of beer isn't so good in my country. I would definitely try some of these when I visit Europe.

    @rutee07

    IPAs, though originally an English invention, are really an American(and Canadian) art form. There are British, Irish, and European breweries-- especially newer ones --that are making them, but the real deal, so to speak, is in North America.

    @bahua Really? I have no plans to visit America though. I'll check it out once I do.

    @bahua we've got two or three breweries that have opened up down here in the south since the craze. They put out some decent brews too

    @M1sf3t

    Abita has been turning out some good stuff, and there are tons of good places in Texas and Georgia. MS and AL are light on selection, but they're getting better all the time.

    That looks tasty. Cheers!

    @bahua the brewery in hattiesburg, southern prohibition isn’t too bad. i like jack the sipper line, but it’s a real sour, kinda skunky tasting beer. I think some of the women like their suzy b, blonde ale, and the men either do fireant, an “imperial red ale” and then devils harvest which is thier lighter tasting ipa
