I can't wait until I hand in my resignation to become a pen tester, I'm interviewing next week! I'm done with development. Don't really have any message here, but felt like sharing it regardless.

What is a ‘pen tester’? Does that have something to do with the Pen 15 club that I heard about in 4th grade?

@irene I always go through large drawers of pens at my friends’ houses - and throw away any that don’t write. Do you you think I’d be a good pen tester! Or do I need to be able to print in calligraphy and stuff?

Ok. So, I guess there aren’t that many pen tester jobs. But I see a lot of network penetration jobs. Isn’t that still going to involve a lot of reading code and writing code? Sounds kinda like ‘development.’

@sheriffderek oh it will still be writing code, but it's not the primary deliverable. That changes a lot.

@Grangar I hope your new job is like that movie “Sneakers.” Congrats on the switch. Sounds fun!
