Spent 2-3 weeks on implementing a new feature, a guy with 10 years of experience jumps in and solves it within 5 days.

*Oh! I forgot to mention, it was his first time working with the framework.

I must say his OOP skills are really good, not sure if this is something you learn by reading books or simply by practice.

I strongly believe that if you have a good understanding of how to build apps with OOP pattern, you'll do a great job in the SW industry.

    This is exactly the concept being discussed in the other rant regarding paying for someone’s 10 years of learning to be able to get things done like that. He’s probably making a bit more, and had he been involved sooner he could have saved a week or so of labor.

    Read gang of four design patterns book and try to use them to go to the next level of OOP 🙃
