Soooo.... It's almost summer alright.. Centralized heating is long gone already and they forecast +1C tonight.

I mean I do have to survive... Guess I'm keeping this overnight

    it snowed yesterday night in switzerland. In MAY! (it should not) something is seriously wrong with the weather.

    What the heck is hogging all those cores?

    @theKarlisK good idea!

    @asgs while :; do :; done

    @heyheni shit's getting annoying. Spoke w/ my parents today. Apparently tonight there will be -7ºC!

    All the garden, all the veggies, all the blooming trees, all the sprouts...

    @heyheni We had that last year around the end of April in Belgium too, same time this year it was up to 24° 🤷‍♂️

    @theKarlisK oh, a neighbour!

    So yeah, half of my parents' garden is already dead after this week's cold nights. Dad also thought "this ain't happening" and he caught cold trying to save at least some of the plants...

    They live close to LV border, so if they have freezing nights - so will [most likely] you.Along with all the snow and everything they forecast

    @netikras why? Just so you heat up the room?
  • 0
    You're using stress or something to crank up the CPUs ?
  • 0
    @Teknas an inf loop in bash:
    while :; do :: done

    @asgs yes, that's correct. I7 does that pretty well when under pressure :)
  • 2
    @netikras might want to try out stress, you can control how bad do you want to squeeze the CPU and also exactly how many cores do you want to load.
  • 0
    @Teknas when I need as many cores as possible as hot as possible, I think stress tool is not that needed :)

    it'd be nice tho to have a tool that acts like a thermostat... Regulating room's temp by adjusting load on CPUs 😁

    @netikras I stay in Mumbai, we have inverse problems. Let's exchange atmosphere please.
  • 1
    @Teknas sure!
    -H "Accept: application/tar+gzip"

    -H "Patch: Beaches_of_Goa.bin/tar+gzip"

    Maybe you should investigate CPU usage :)
  • 0
    @xalys maybe there is no cpu issue and you've just missed the point :)
  • 1
    @netikras ‘the point’ being the comments before mine where you state its intentional?

    Yeah, didn’t read them.
  • 1
    @xalys yep, it's intentional :) to warm the room up
  • 1
    @netikras that’s so nerdy and cool
