I built a gaming PC and have been addicted to it for the last few months (rocket league, subnautica, Xcom2 mostly) and my Girlfriend complained that we didn't do anything anymore... solution? I built her one too (now she won't stop playing prison architect!)

I think I might just have to marry her.

Play portal 2 co-op first, if you two can get through that in one piece, then get married :)

She is a keeper. I have tried to get my wife to play electronic games with me for years. Unless it is the Wii or arcade games she is not interested.

@monolith920 It's a good place to start. Especially when they're the healer/buffer and you're protecting them. It really does open a lot more in the relationship. You tend to spend more time together. I would actually really suggest it.

Wait... You mean there are girlfriends/wives that will play electronic games with you?!? Hmm... I may have screwed up somewhere.

Mine wasn't a gamer at first. But then I introduced him to Star Trek online, and then it went from there.

    I'm so proud.

Most of my mates are from uni and we don't see much of each other anymore but we all game, my gf wanted to join in too so it's socialising as much as gaming for us :P

You're saying you got one to convert? (Sitting with mouth open, staring blankly.)

It's true. I was baffled at first, but then we started connecting more, had another thing in common. It's nice. We can talk about the drops we found for the day, dungeons, tips and tricks... It's a live-in best friend that you also happen to be in love with.
