Those who ask for free development are only capable of BS and throwing their shitty projects ideas, and not even have the balls to stick to their own ideas. At the end they come to you and say this project will not work . AsshOle what about my wasted life because of your shitty project

Revenue shares are bad for developers. If I'm doing work I'm getting paid for it by the hour. Code gets released when payment is delivered.
DO NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP! -
@Nanos the way I see it if you got no money then don't do it. If you went to the shop to buy milk with no cash you couldn't turn around to the clerk and say well if the milk tastes good when I get home il send you part of the money. So why is making an app any different. The days of start up fame are over. Just don't support bad business practices.
-
@Nanos nothing wrong in trying to make money but if people are complaining about it then don't do it. It's like sticking your hand in a fire. If it burns don't do it again 😆

Hardy5145yBeen facing this issue since the time I got into Programming. Once my friend asked me if I could build an Android app through which he can measure air pollution, soil pollution and noise pollution.. he even went further and told me , "you do not have enough experience in Marketing. I'll do the marketing and I will give you 50 percent of the revenue". 😂 I mean wow.. 🤣🤣🤣
-
@Hardy yeah. They try to prove u are a total dumbass apart from programin, and that, they will complete you with their sense of marketing and good selling skills.
I ended up saying to those ppl "all the commercial energy and marketing etc doesnt even worth the only maintenance of the code once delivered"
They can even say sentences like this "if id be a coder i would have been rich since long time ago, but you, you have no imagination"
Lol no, i just know how much time it takes to do not only a mvp but a real production software. -
Ya well bill gates, mark and steve, they all went around trying to do shit for free and then share profit.
Either do the milestone yourself or stfu ...
That's pretty much how I reply these days when someone tell me about their multi billion idea, either pay or leave me a lone. -
@Nanos The other guy should be marketing, but if I'm not mistaken in the case of Apple, both of them had plans to generate profit, and not went to each other and say: Bro I have this multi billion dollar idea....
-
@Nanos I understand your point but I think of it from this point of view:
1. One steve did all the hard work, but is that steve able to sell and reach somewhere?
2. The other steve, spotted work and potential, without the first steve would he be able to do anything?
3. If both steves got their shares why would there be a problem? They don't share same skills, we cannot say work needs to be 50/50 divided between them

Fellow developers,
For all people asking u to be partners of their "billionaire" idea, and to be paid from revenue ONLY when the plateform goes live or shit like this, BEWARE.
For all of them i had the same answer: "ok, ill share with you the project, but until it goes live, i am the only one who is giving sacrifice, and since we are partners, i want us both to do same level of sacrifices in order to deserve later the share of revenue... That being said, u have to pay the hours of devlopment, all of them, and when it goes live, from the revenue ill get, ill pay you back what you paid on dev cost"
It is the only way to be really even...
And if he refuse, ask them again "why? I taought u where 100% sure that your idea will work and become a billionaire why u think it is risky tp pay few thousands????"
... Now he is having second thaughts
