Me a few years ago: I am amazed to see that todays phones have more RAM than my laptop from 2009 (4GB).
Me now: Whhhhyyyyy would a phone need 10 GB of RAM? (1+ 6T) Ffs some of todays Laptops dont even have this much!

1TB is 728,200 unformatted 1509949 byte (1.44 MB) floppies. In actuality it's more like 1474560 bytes (1.40625 MB) usable per floppy after formatting, so 745,654 floppies.

Hardware in general has reached the ceiling of CPU speed,

So instead of making CPU faster, they add more cores and more cache

@nam17887 yepp.. Although 8 cores is an optimal setup. Anything above makes the efficiency grow slower, bcz syncronization takes more time [limitation is speed of light]. Also bigger caches can cause longer sync times

@JFK422 recommended amount of usable RAM for A8 is 4GB (IIRC) plus the Huawei custom kernel leaks memory like a goddamn garden hose which doesn't help.
