    That is known thing. It could be that pip you just installed is not on the PATH. It just asks shows version of pip that it can import. I see this all the time when updating pip before setting environment variables while building Docker image.

    Maybe it's talking about the pip you're using to install (the older one) instead of the pip you installing (the new one)... Well... I hope so...
