Wops178yBecause you might not be the only one using it. For example on my school pc's we have an admin account and a student account.

Before UAC was a thing, it was recommended (maybe it still is, I don't use Windows). Prevents nasty executable from messing with the system. The admin account was supposed to be used when strictly necessary.

@andrebreda I understand for normal users, but I hate keep being asked for permission to do stuff and things not writing because of no -w tag :/ Just let me do what I want Windows.

loogie18yWell it's not a windows thing. Basically every os does it. That's what sudo is about. Windows just does it poorly
