@h3ll
Misuse, thought it was used in either an identification (devrant version of #) or sarcastically, so my bad.
And it's 4 hours travel to and from, so about 2 hours to work and about 2 hours to home -
@IronPhreak In C and all based on C languages '!' means 'not'. !false means 'not false' '!true' becomes 'not true', and '!rant' becomes 'not rant'. Hope it helps.

My commute was 4 hours each way however instead of 3 modes of transport it now take 1 hour each journey on one mode of transport :)
We find a way to stnd strong -
Try not to quit until you get a better job. Easier to get a job when you have a job.

I spend around 250 on travel a month - but i guess theres gonna always be something that causes u stress at work :/

@wildgoosecsharp
I genuinely wouldn't mind the cost of travel, if i got paid more, but getting about £1k a month, minus travel, rent, food, utilities and so on, I barely get by. -
suprano38308yIdk if you've already done this.. But try to talk to them about it if they'll bump your pay up a bit. Some companies you consider doing that for you. If not, then you do what's best for you. All the best though.

@spl0
I was taken on as an apprentice developer, but they decided they didn't need one so I moved to become their 'main' tech support person. After the apprenticeship, they kept me on minimum wage. -
spl020438y@IronPhreak how much experience do you have now? Sounds like you'd probably get a better deal elsewhere...
-
spl020438y@IronPhreak I'd think you'd do better than min wage with two years real experience. Surely at that point you should get more than stacking shelves in Tesco? What does everyone else think?
