@Konsole I think it is because this is a USB 2 port, at work it is a USB 3 port and does charge fully even if I leave screen turned on, it kinda annoying when I need to debug on physical device lol

Some USB C phones can act as powerbanks. Some laptops can be charged through USB C. As you may have already figured out, this sometimes has unexpected effects. ;)

@gronostaj usb otg specification is from 2001 so it has been on smartphones pretty much since the beginning (Android has support since 3.1)

Parzi88335yeither your phone is consuming more power than the laptop provides, isn't charging due to trying to get ahold of the laptop and start a USB handshake, or the laptop is doing some shenanigans and draining the phone (YES, this is something that happens. NO, it shouldn't work. YES, it's happened to me. NO, the laptop isn't charged in the process.)

@jOkErS Can't do that for WiFi because I'm using it, and screen brightness is at lowest, but my laptop is a slow charger lol

@Parzi My laptop is a slow charger it has always been like that, the only thing that charges fast enough on this laptop is my iPod touch lol
Me: Phone at 13% better plugin to laptop
