C0D4669026yI believe it's n+stratum level.
Each stratum queries the stratum before it, so delays will be compounded the deeper you go but a stratum 3 for example could be more accurate then a stratum 2 as you will be querying more clients to get a more accurate reading.
At least that's my understanding. -

muttley886yI thought stratum 15 was an error condition indicating an un-referenced clock?
Also the errors won’t just add could be RMS or some complex formula.
