Heyy friends :-) Milo here once again, i hope everyone is having an absolutely amazing day as always and I really hope the upcoming week ahead brings everyone the best ☺️.

So I have finally managed to hand in all my major projects for my semester last Friday (yay less stress πŸ˜…) but tomorrow i have a final presentation to do (wish me luck πŸ˜…) ... boy am I nervous, but as of right now I’m just going over my slides ahah πŸ˜„.

So in my free time over the next couple of weeks I’m really planning on gaining a better understanding of algorithms , I’d love some input from
Anyone and any advice I’d highly appreciate!, currently i have a book called introduction to algorithms third addition sitting on my desktop and I’ve been reading some of that πŸ˜ƒ..

So ladies and gents, once again thank you for taking the time to read my
Rambling and long post.. i just have a habit of rambling on πŸ˜„.. my bad , once again - thank you!

Well the classics are sorting and searching algos. You probably won't need to implement them in real life, but you need to know pros and cons so that you can make the right decision.

Dunno whether you'd also count data structures here, but if so, then stacks, queues, single / double linked lists, skip lists, trees and dictionaries / hash tables come to mind.

@Fast-Nop hey mate :-) appreciate the kind response, I’ll take
That into mind :-) was wondering do you think the book i have is a good resource? Thanks once again!

@KingMilo Dunno, I've never read algo books at all. ^^ But if it covers most of these items, it can't be that bad. Worst possible thing is that it could be written badly so that it would be needlessly difficult to understand.

@Fast-Nop no issues my friend :-), sorry for the endless questions one more, any places you would recommend me to look at for learning how to implement them? With either c++ or java πŸ˜…. Thank you once again or is it just understanding the theory? :-)

@KingMilo I like https://rosettacode.org/wiki/... a lot because it has a lot of algos in different programming languages. The navigation sucks a bit, so I mostly just google e.g. for Shellsort in C and then click the rosetta search result.
