What % increase to your salary would you expect for a promotion? What about if you left for another job somewhere else?

google for "salery calculator" + your state and look how much the average earns and compare it what you earn now. :)

@heyheni I make a bit above average for my experience and location, but if I was promoted or went somewhere else I wouldn't want a smaller % increase just because I'm above average now lol

@Crazed i've heard that here in rich switzerland you should make something around 5% increase per year. But i don't know if thats true or applicable to your situation.

Depends how much you earn. I was way low when I started so I got 13% my first promotion because I did my research (salary stats for people in that position, city, age group and experience span). Well, actually, someone hinted that I should do my research and I was totally clueless... Thank you, HR/salary intern ❤️
