OH. FUCK. OFF.

Really?? A *gaming browser*??

What a sorry attempt at grabbing your first 10 users, Opera. There's a lot of "gaming" gear out there that's nothing more than a double-price gimmick with RGB lights, but this takes the cake.

Absolutely ridiculous. You should be ashamed for making such an abomination.

What's even so special about it?

@devNYC It had a way of setting limits on the resources it uses so that supposedly it doesn't affect your gaming. IMO this wouldn't make a difference on a modern PC.

@kamen Glad I limited my browser's ram usage to a gig. I only had 12 GB free!

@kamen I typically have too many tabs open than I know what to do with from dev stuff and still play games fine on 16gb lol. They must be targeting the fast shrinking 4gb users 😂

Why cant I get Linus talking about >>>GAMING!!!<<< sd cards out of my head rn?

@WIPocket from here on out imma hear his voice whenever I read the word gaming. Thanks for that experience 😂😂😂

(Somehow missed that video and just watched it)

*sees gaming* woah woah.. let’s uh.. hear them out?..

But in all seriousness it doesn’t look bad, and I just see it as another piece of shit we have to optimize sites for

Will it increase performance for HTML5 RuneScape GAMING?! Honestly can't even play that game without hitting that 144 FPS. That lag time is killer without it.

I kinda like the newer Opera versions due to Opera VPN and the sidebar for different messaging apps and lower CPU/RAM usage than Chrome, but this is pushing it...

@Bubbles Shouldn't be that much different (or at all) from their standard version, which in turn is similar to Chrome.

Maybe they are referring to browser gaming? Like unity web player?

At least, it's the double-price gimmick of a free web browser :3

TBF integrated twitch seems pretty nice. But, I don't think the average user will be even close to being crafty enough to know how to use the RAM/CPU limiter.

@kamen yeah I realize, but it might have its own little annoying things we need to look out for or maybe not

@RantSomeWhere did I hear someone say "MSI"?

They should have done it in 2005 when flash gaming was all the rage
