FUCK THIS GUY AND WHOEVER ELSE THINKS AI HAVING THE ABILITY TO PROGRAM IS A GOOD IDEA OR SUPPORTS IT OR TRIES TO DO IT. ITS NOT AND NEVER GOING TO BE A GOOD IDEA! AI ISNT DANGEROUS UNLESS YOU DO THIS KIND OF STUPID SHIT, DO YOU WANT US TO DIE? DO YOU WANT TO REPLACE YOUR OWN JOB WITH SOME AI? ARE YOU FUCKING RETARDED?

    I smell fear, human

Dude AI is going to replace some jobs, that's reality. All those paperbacked jobs consisting of reading document A and filling document B are going to be replaced one by one. If you fear to be replaced by AI you should question your skill. Because AI is nothing more than just doing the same fucken thing over and over again, as right as possible, with slight variations. Just my two cents.

@nitwhiz you smell anger and urge to beat the fuck out of simpletons
  • 3
There is a not so slight chance that some future programmers will be lynched by some unemployed mob
  • 1
The software he writes will write a software that will let computers write software. That's when Mr. Talwar 'll realise what he has brought upon himself and the rest of the world. ๐Ÿ˜…

@kayb01000010 or we brutally inhumanly execute him and destroy his work and all the traces

This is what YouTube should ban and not educational "hacking" videos. ๐Ÿ˜ค

    I stand by this guy

@kayb01000010 hacking is the only way we will be able to defend ourselves, they want it to rise. God I’m sounding like Terry Davis.

But in all seriousness they’re taking away our ability to learn how to get into the field making it harder and more intimidating to get into. And in general taking a huge and amazing resource for learning that isn’t some sketchy site. We should be allowed to learn how to defend ourselves or be educated enough to know what to look for. I know there are malicious people out there but 8/10 chance to be a script kiddie (I’m just guesstimating) and they’re just getting or paying for scripts on some other site they’re not going to take the time to learn how to do shit.

    Pisses me off

@TheCommoner282 nah man don’t you know, I’m like a Venus fly trap up in this bitch. I lure you in and it’s the complete opposite of what you expected

    @Bubbles spot on dude.

We have already seen what could go wrong if AI isn't given clear-cut instructions.

Imagine, while writing source, someone forgets to put an "!" in, if(friendly){kill();} ;the chaos my friend ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Here Facebook developers hadn't mentioned that the AIs should use comprehensible English. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜…

@Bubbles you totally watch theLockPickingLawyer, don't you ๐Ÿ˜‚.
  • 0
@kayb01000010 I do, how did you know? ๐Ÿคฃ

@Bubbles was going through your feed and saw the lock picking post ๐Ÿ™…‍โ™‚๏ธ

@kayb01000010 oh yeah, I do I’m not that good but it’s just something I physically like to do Yknow?
  • 1
Chill. AI is still a hammer to which everything looks like a nail. It'll pass
  • 1
@netikras I’d rather not take chances
  • 1
AI is good just as alcohol is. In small amounts.

@kayb01000010 I’m okay with Machine Learning but I draw the line when it can program
  • 1
Auto ML. I don't even like 'auto' in my code. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  • 1
I think I have the resolution, we can use AI to power error checking and InteliSense
  • 2
@Bubbles @chabad360 is on their team. Helping with error checks is exactly what they (Mr.Talwar and team) are trying to achieve. ๐Ÿ™„.

    JK @chabad360 .

@kayb01000010 using it for tasks is okay just don’t give it the ability to think and or create

Start the AntiAI party, the human race is superior tho that of the machines, hail Hummaner!

@Bubble if you're don't know why it's not a risk then you don't deserve to call yourself a programmer. There are math theorems telling us that programming will always be an art and not just a science. Please before spreading alarmism inform yourself properly on the challenges and potentialities of the technology.

@Pickman I am clearly educated enough to formulate my own opinions and concerns.

Not really your place to tell me how to classify myself
  • 0
    @Pickman

I’ve also considered what you’ve said and it’s cleared some things up.

But I’m curious if you have any recommended material that go into how programming is an art. I’m not denying that statement I do agree, but I’ve not really read anything on the subject
  • 2
The problem with it programming is who’s to say any laws we apply to them would apply to their programs. If they can’t do something they could just write their own code to do the task and absolve themselves

@Bubbles how does one build an exe for the Inventory repo ๐Ÿคจ. I've tried to Google but .net and c# jargon goes over my head. ๐Ÿ˜…
  • 0
    @kayb01000010 what?
  • 1
@Bubbles build an exe for your c# bubbsthesupreme/inventory repository
  • 0
@kayb01000010 do you have .Net Core 2.2 installed?
  • 0
@kayb01000010 .Net Core has its own tools for building and making an exe
  • 0
Yes, i compiled a .dll successfully.
  • 0
  • 0
    That should help
  • 0
I haven’t created an EXE with any of my C# projects yet because I’m still relatively new to it
  • 0
new to C# not programming lol
  • 0
That sounds familiar, oh yeah, industrial revolution

@Bubbles got it ๐Ÿ‘. I have always had trouble working with .net and never bothered to learn it cuz of all the fucking errors. Thanks man. I might just try learning this shit now. Got the executable ๐Ÿ˜….

@kayb01000010 enjoy! Also give me feed back. I know I could have done more but I wanted to just kinda be done with it at the time.

@Bubbles sorry if I was a harsh (and that I answer you only now I guess).
The undecidability results allow us to say that it's impossible to create a machine able to create all possible theorems. This means that it cannot create all possible programs too. This does not mean that computers will not become able to program on their own, in fact writing a program that writes a simple variation of itself is easy and there's no reason that a class of useful algorithms that do that will be found. It means that their efficiency will be somewhat limited (as ours is).
However there will always be more to discover and this means that random inspiration has incredible value, it leads to breakthroughs. Much to my dismay I do not know of a comprehensive book that presents decidability results in this light but a good starting point to grasp the limits of computability could be "Computability and Decidability" by Loeckx and the study of formal languages is tightly tied to these topics.

@Pickman it’s all okay, thank you for your take I appreciate it.
