Honestly, in specialized areas, Linux and the software for Linux (may?) sucks.

@rantsauce my experience with Mac has been awful. Window management is clunky, as soon as you run out of memory the system just freezes, bunch of gimmicky shit that just makes everything take longer

@beegC0de yeah I understand this part but my rant is mainly about the availability of the software and the support for different hardware.

@beegC0de lol that's my experience with every decent looking linux distro.

@rantsauce I really miss Garageband on my old iPad, easily the most intuitive music production environment I've ever used (and surprisingly powerful, made some good stuff with it). It's the only thing I would go Apple for (thinking of getting another iPad).

Never used Logic for long enough to get used to it, I just picked up FL and it stuck.

@RememberMe I'm currently using LMMS on Linux but it's limited unlike other DAWs on MAC and Windows.
