@1337M0nst3r The screenshots take up space (but you can use jpegs), the archives too (you can just delete after timelapse), but ffmpeg is inevitable. You can speed it up 4x if you don't mind a reduction in quality, and you can assign it a different number of threads. I'm looking to improve that. Have a look at the code, it's simple
Also, I'm sure your computer is more powerful than mine -
@skuzzymiglet0 I doubt my pc is faster than yours but ok.
I'm not a Python programmer but shouldn'y setup.py contain actual code? I had to install the dependencies myself.
Also there's no guide to using it, should I run asl.py then timelapse.py? Or just asl.py?
One last complain and I'm done :), the image quality is shit. -
@1337M0nst3r sorry, it's not exactly ready for installation. Run asl.py at startup, and timelapse.py to create timelapses. I will add image format in the configs, but in the meanwhile you can replace jpg with png
