"Tech is dangerous. Let us at Google, protect you against it."

Well, there must be a reason many leaders of technology companies raise their children without digital technology.

Various ways of manipulation are possible on these platforms and every one thinks that theire manipulation is the justified one. Censoring people by imposing certein rules after you reach the status of a digital Monopol while refusing to acknowledge that they are and wanted to be one is also not nice.

So he’s referring to the problem I brought up week ago to my friend.

If everyone type to google same question they got same result. Does that mean they’re thinking about the same thing ?

I don’t think so. What technology does ( developers do ) is aligning answers to the biggest audience. (page rank)

Since eugenic didn’t managed to create super human technology is trying to create average human that can be controlled.

That’s called globalization and I call it global mind washing.

@vane No, different people typing the same thing on google will not get the same response. Their google account will make differences or at least their localization. There was experiments about that, mainly in the US.

But yes your still grouped with people similar to you, but it's always better that no any other random page on the web, we do not now how to read your mind yet, and its far from saying that you make everyone the same, especially when these group are created automatically according to the data, not manually by someone.

But yes even if we don't make every one the same, we are currently making distinct groups of people, especially mass media and social networks that group you with people that think exactly like you.

@Kasonnara so you want to tell me that if you type how to boil egg you won’t get same page in first results ?
  • 0
@vane basically yes. However given that there is a infinit possible question, there will be questions where a page a far ahead and the same for everyone, but in general the top firsts shift a little from people to people and places to palces

@Kasonnara dude so you want to tell me that you have different search snippets for every region or a country?

I specially made simple question so it can use snippet this is mine results from Poland.

And from different computer connected to vpn in germany are the same. So most of people will use same webpage to see obvious answers to questions.

Now read my first post and write what alignment means to you ?

@vane For exemple DuckDuckGo made a study about that, https://spreadprivacy.com/google-fi...

@vane I only see your first result as my 13th result

@Kasonnara yeah so I got yours as third result so there are max 13 pages people from 2 countries can see about boiling eggs and how many are they ?
