finally using git portable with usb repo for work related things! (no online repo possible) feels good man!

    @Jifuna @C0D4 i do not work as a dev in a non-dev environment and there are several ports blocked. they profit from my hobby and i need the code at home too.

    @Jifuna i admit i had no clue and didn't try it based on my experience with blocked ftp. on the other hand there is sensitive data i would rather not send around the internet with a tool i am quite new with.
    but i plan to reorganize a bit and will give it a try!

    Please atleast clone from your usb annd push to the origin when done. The best thing about git is that when you fuck up you can git reset or delete the folder and clone the repo (from your remote or usb) again and you're back om business.

    @erroronline1 Nice man, if that's your concern: if you use a provider like github you can also choose ssh which is quite secure. (but over https is good enough)

    Tip: if you not sure about the tool read some things about it on the internet. Git is the most used tool for code change tracking.
