Feel that pain on Android too
Pictures are inverted for some apps. Can't see the words whenever I get a message on telegram or whenever I save a message on Snapchat. -
@Stuxnet had the same issues occasionally back when I was still using substratum and Android didn't have it have a "system-wide" theming engine
And now substratum doesn't work on my new phone, so it's the next-best thing I have. I still have white notifications, but it's better than nothing ^^' -
bols597795y"It's a Mac; it's fucked; that's why." As much as I want to wrap my labtop around a utility pole with Windows 10, my father hasn't told me my attitude is 'combative' since switching from a Mac. It got so bad I was acting out. That's what owning a Mac did to me. That, and when Mac introduced a track pad instead of a mouse, did they construct a wrist and put it through 10 years of 8 hours per day use, to see if it would affect the human wrist? No, they let their end users find out for themselves.

@bols59 I've actually found my dev experience is better with a Mac, things just work better. I much prefer the Unix way.
Each to their own. -
bols597795y@Hedgepig I agree. I never thought I'd give Windows higher marks than a Mac after 6 years of using a Mac [my HD died & I was forced to go back to Windows.] There are deffo things I like about Mac, in fact, they're better than Windows. But I couldn't handle the daily fuckery. "Why is this so fucked up?" "It's a Mac." I'm just happy to have a computer and internet access. If I didn't have internet access, I'd miss out on DevRant. Then I'd be placed on suicide watch. lol

Got a new Mac from work, wanted to do some magazine editing so downloaded Scribus.
I begin to panic because most of the top toolbar icons were not visible. I figured it was bugged.
Okay, calm, it's still vaguely usable with shortcuts and menu. But damn this sucks.
Oh,
They just haven't adapted the program to work with system wide dark theme.
That, that would be why.
