I get that they were not thorough. Were they apologizing for asking you to create the word doc? Confused by last sentence.

@Demolishun on the contrary. They were condecending about it. By saying I'm not responsible enough to be a remote dev.
I have been working remotely for 3 years now and been a dev since 2012 . This is the first time I face a hiring manager that doesn't read the info I send that they required for interview and then tells me that because I haven't fill out the bullshit paper, I'm not responsible enough to be a remote dev. -
@nachocode Ah, okay. So you didn't want to work for them anyway, I would assume. If they can't take care of their own shit... Yeah, fuck them!
-
@Demolishun Exactly!. That's a huge red flag in my opinion. But calling out on someone seems inmature imho.
Btw. Nice C++ shirt! I love that language. -
@netikras I have a site on github pages. That shows all my work. I sent them that plus code samples.

Root825995yScrew the lazy buffoons.
You didn't dodge a bullet; they shot at you and didn't even bother to aim.

Applied for job. CV says I've been a web developer for over 6 years. Js included.
Recruiter doesn't read and discards me with b.s. excuse that I haven't developed with JS for more than 3 years.
I clarify that with polite email. Her boss send me an email to fill my portfolio on .docx file.
Wtf? I let it go.
Two days later they tell me I'm not responsible for doing their b.s. documentation.
