Bubbles66125y@jesustricks I’m used to that, I do that with my GUI editors too so that little part doesn’t bother me

Nano's usefulness falls off pretty quickly, it's good in a pinch but not the greatest for extended work on large projects.
And that's okay, that's pretty much what nano is supposed to do. -
Bubbles66125y@jesustricks yeah it can be tedious but it gives me time to contemplate if life is really worth it
-
Meh, use whatever feels best for you. I'm a vim guy. Bob opposite me is an emacs guy. Kate opens everything in wordpad, and we tend not to talk about that.
Never got the heated debates around what editors people use. Why does anyone care?! *shrug* -
Dear haters,
nano can do regex searches, auto-indentations, source highlighting, multi-buffering and can remember cursor positions between sessions.
It is very useful whenever vim/emacs are just too many unused features.
Please stop flaming. -
Bubbles66125y@Yamakuzure @coder7 brethren, we gather here today in celebration of Nano and the wonderful community it has accumulated
-
Bubbles66125y@Jilano there will be more and we will arise above all and create the largest Nano army and rule the world
-
a3y355y@Jilano what can vim do that nano can't? Just curious as I always use nano and if vim is more powerful I'd be more than willing to switch.

I’m gonna say it. I prefer Nano. Vim is nice and emacs exists but I just feel most comfortable in the hands of my precious Nano.
