    My idea is that it's always being "patched" (like when your bike tires flatten) rather than updated.

    From the outside seems like it was not designed with scalability being a major concern.

    @drRoss dude, I was on Windows all my life....37 years old...went to Mac 6 weeks ago to develop on a mean stack...never going back

    Then there's the Mac itself with it's locked down infrastructure and supported by little to nobody on the development scene. I'll stick with my familiar surroundings.
