Why would they add a reason for downvoting but no reason for upvoting? Why would they make it harder to dislike something but like something? I mean, why would they? WHY DO THE APPLICATION NEED A REASON SO THAT I COULD DOWNVOTE SOMEONE

WHY

There are no "down votes" per say, We have feed improvers here,

    - not for me, hides it from you and similar posts

    - repost, hides from you and others who don't want to see things mark as repost

^^ that's the default one for the meme category ๐Ÿ™ƒ

    - spam, actually causes a down vote ( -- ) but this can create its own issues when used a lot.

Because downvoting can harm a person.
The opposite of upvoting is "not upvoting" not downvoting.

Downvoting is equivalent to "report that shit"
So we have 3 possible action
    # up
    # nothing
    # down

Also adding no reason for upvoting means its easier to upvote.

    Troll detection.

@Root actually it's for Algo mainly, as repost flagging is easier when people naturally go to downvote them than, say, burying it in the Report menu

@Parzi I know how it works, silly. I was making fun of the ridiculous wording.
