I went for job interview and they gave me a paper with questions about coding and I have to write the answers in the same paper. Why did they didn't give me a laptop to write the answer?

    Not being a smart a$$. The senior developer that interviewed made me solve an algorithm on paper in C#, then told me to wait a minute as he had a junior type it into .net fiddle and run it. I missed a semicolon.

    Because it’s less about the syntax or whether you can compile it and more on how you structure your thinking process.
