If you were through a long phase (year or two) of zero to minimal learning and lots of procrastination, how did you finally break it?

I used to be in a Company with really less work load and now I procrastinate a really lot, despite having work to do.

Remove distractions. Clean up and organise workspace. Budget time. Understand that if you don't get your work done, you'll get replaced. The employer notices everything. For me it was about understanding that work is a place for work. I can faff about anywhere else but if my job is cushy, I'd like to keep it.

Caffeine does it for me, or guilt on a particularly slow day, and sometimes just good old self control
