    @IntrusionCM well.. guess I'm leaving Australia and coming to Germany then, was supposed to get a return of $3000 ended up paying $200 .-.

    As long as u are a regular employee it's quite easy.

    Married gives bonus.

    Freelancer / Company / self employed is tricky - get a good lawyer soon or there will be drama.

    You know if you filled in your tax form properly you could probably get the money 6 months earlier and earn interest on it
