Thats cool, do you know what else filters 100% of harmful uv rays? Any piece of transparent plastic, but that doesnt cost 900$ like a pair of fucking sunglasses huh?

    For $900, the main function you get is that you can display that you are able to afford that luxury model. The people who buy that do so precisely because it's expensive. Demand-supply-price doesn't hold in the luxury segment.

    I got my work to buy me sun glasses that are safety glasses with UV block, and are polarized. They were like $35 (USD). Best sunglasses I have ever had. You can see even when there is a ton of glare. Good for fishing too!

    Well not any plastic. For example CR-39 lets UV mostly through. And it's commonly used in eyeglasses.
