Quiet day in the office today. So I decided to optimise certain aspects of our software deployment. Success!

Great way to productively use your time! Congrats!

Yeah, before (through my apprenticeship) I could only somewhat confidently create batch scripts to install software and copy files from out Windows Server.

(No training on windows server from the apprenticeship as it was a dev apprenticeship)

Then after self teaching and experimenting I had a mixture of batch scripts and GPOs, now I have majority of GPOs but the installation of other non-MSI software is now smooth lined.

No more long boot up times installing software that's already installed

These devices are getting easier and easier to setup
