My class used to grab a Bluetooth speaker and someone would play the "Deutsche Bahn parody song".

Fuck it was glorious

But seriously, I recommend you complain to a service person around and get your ticket refunded.
Depending on where you are, you might wanna use Eurobahn or Westfalenbahn instead

If you think the trains are bad now, wait to see what happens if the UK rail operating companies are re-nationalised if labour win the general election (unlikely though). Db won't be using the profits from several UK train companies anymore to subsidise the system in Germany.
