Today I got paid 75 bucks for the last four weeks of full-time work at an internship but was expecting 1500. Turns out 1500 was an yearly stipend. Haven't been learning much coding in the past 5 weeks so I'm thinking of not turning up from now on. I architected the whole application and was in the middle of leading a team to build the front-end. These skills will be handy later down the track but won't help me get a job...

Dude don't just not show up. Now that you've got experience architecting and building teams use that towards your next job. Keep your relationship with your current employer good, you might need a reference

@xroad True that. I would probably still visit them next week if I decide to not turn up tomorrow. I feel really cheated and need some recovery time.

@hyejeejung yeah that's bullshit bro. I'd be pissed if I were you. But on the bright side that's your out.

Internships are less about getting paid and more about experience to get in the door of a better company. Just hold on till it is over, get a badass reference and bowl over your next employer.

@Knossos I wish I could afford it. I have rent to pay so I'm now looking for some cash job first.
