Hey guys, a quick question: what's your main area of expertise? Mine is web backend (so web services, servers, cloud systems etc)

I am a Full Stack Web Dev(websites, animations, advanced CSS, web services, DB architect).
Lately I have been doing some dev ops as well.
I would love to get into IOT though!

@SuperNOVA the project I'm working on at work has IoT as a use case, check it out (called telepat io; not trying to advertise here, it's open source anyway)

Web Front-end and kind of going with Web Back-end too. Not an expert on neither of them, of course ๐Ÿ˜ถ

Backend / db's / tool and data discovery. Keep me away from the front-end. Zero front-end talent๐Ÿ˜€

Networking expert or a "hacker" as it's referred to. I'll find vulnerabilities in software and websites alike; that sort of thing.

@Deco what's the "official" name of your job post, just curious :D

@Mayhem93 I wish i knew the answer to that question. It's often called a White- hat/Ethical hacker, so I'll simply put that job title for reference.

@Deco is it like the stuff a pentester does?
  • 1
@Minzkraut Yeah, more or less. I'll be it a somewhat different style in terms of finding specific vulnerabilities at hand than what a penetration tester would do.
