Hey guys quick simple question for you guys who use storage solutions like google drive, one drive, dropbox, etc: what's a feature you'd really love to have that the cloud storage you are using doesn't have.
I want to compile a series of answers on this topic.4 -
Going to have a call for a position in Vancouver, Canada with AWS. I'm from the poor side of Europe, so I'm really excited. My ultimate goal is California, but Canada will do as well until then.2

Hello guys, I've posted a question here: https://softwareengineering.stackexchange.com/...
It's a question regarding taking ownership of a project with a apache 2 license. I've pretty much created the back-end part of this back end as a service. Some other colleagues created the Java, ios and js clients, so it's not entirely made by me.
More details in the question itself. -
Guys, sometime soon I'm gonna invest a small amount of money in a cryptocurrency. It's my first time doing it so wish me luck 😁. Gonna invest $200 into Ripple (XRP) and let it sit there while the price rises. I'm not a day trader, I'm the one that goes for the slow jackpot.
XRP had a 52-week return of 30,000% and I get pissed all the time on the fact that I didn't invest (in any cryptocurrency) earlier.
Hopeful in an year it will rise for another 5000% or so.
Will report back once I make the purchase 😁.14 -
Something "very" unique happened to me this morning/night: I've managed to lose my sleepiness after just 7:45 hours of sleep (interrupted sleep, actual sleep was more like 5 hours). I had trouble falling asleep and woke up like 4-5 times in total. Last time I woke up at around 7:50am I decided to put up some white noise (vacuum cleaner sounds on yt) to relax me and at least make me feel like I'm having a superficial sleep.
PS: I usually sleep 10+ hours without even trying, most of the time I only wake up from bed so I don't feel bad for wasting half my day doing basically nothing. I start work at 11am and even then it's still hard for me to wake up at around 10am, sometimes I just pay Uber to get me to work just for the extra 20-30 mins of sleep. -
I wish my bachelor's degree would've been made out of soft paper so it wouldn't scratch too much when I wipe my ass with it :(4

Hey guys, I just made a small contribution to the world of free code. It's a an install script for installing Apache Spark on windows with all its dependencies and quirks. Installing it on Windows is not so straightforward as some of you might know. This script should make everything good to go.
