Mozilla launched Firefox 72 for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android which includes fingerprinting scripts blocked by default, less annoying notifications and Picture-in-Picture video on macOS and Linux. See the release notes for the details of these features and other changes.

    btw. did they unoficially killed Firefox for Android? It is still 68...

    @lamka02sk Yes and no.
    Firefox for Android will only receive maintenance updates until the rewrite is complete (see "Firefox Preview").

    Good, now flat out kill notifications for next release and I will use and cherish it.

    FireFox WAS an excellent browser couple of years ago. Now, they are so behind chromium that at our company we even stopped testing on it. And if someone complains that our app is not working properly on FF, we just tell them to install edge or chrome. Next step : Add warning (Like we did for IE and old EDGE)

    @NoToJavaScript I don't want to know what would happen if Firefox stopped existing. There is literally no alternative in this field and Google is already doing 90% of the new specification. W3C is practically non-existent. It is just a group of people controlled by Google. In a few years, there will not be web specification anymore, it will be Google web specification.
