Devrant feature: It would be cool that when you wanna write a comment, it doesn't open a new page, but a textarea appears at the bottom, so I can re-read the other comments and the rant without going back.

I like how you are thinking, but with an input field and the keyboard up, that's going to leave very little room to see much else.

Sounds like the problem that needs solving is while writing a response, you don't have access to a username or referencing what someone else said. I'll see what solutions might work here

@trogus yeah, I thought about that, I think that a little space is better than nothing.
I noticed that 9gag faces the problem of the input field pretty good, maybe you could take a look at how they did it.
Anyway thanks for taking my idea in consideration

@altermind cool, I'll check out what they do. The simplest solution until we rebuild commenting is to temporarily save what you've written in the comment field so you can bounce back and forth to reference things in the thread
