I'm not an advanced programmer and even I can reduce that to a single, even readable line by turning it into a predicate function..

@TheCommoner282 actually its a precommit git hook. Anyways, I can't really forgive him error flag because it makes simple code more entangled and unreadable without any real gain - everyone who's been programming more than 6 months should be able to read it written without that.
