dfox421566yThanks, we appreciate that - we do have plans to do some implementation of devRant++ subscribing on web, but not sure what the timeline is for that. It shouldn’t be too hard to implement so we’ll try to prioritize. -

Wack61256yI was looking into braintree, as they have a pretty simple API. But tbh, never worked with them (we've used a Swiss solution which just worked for Swiss credit cards?, so can't tell if they are good or just have nice docs -

Root772336yI would also much rather pay directly than through Google. Hell, I'd pay more.
Make it happen. -

There was a startup with a .io address which handles taxes in different countries for you, never used it, but sounded great...I can't remember the name
Or if you are an NPO kind of thing, that's a no brainer.. -

A lot of apps are gonna go the way of PWA instead so they don't have to compete with all of asia on the app store (or pay a fee *to* compete with asia).
Web browser apps are free.
Instead you pay in years taken off your life due to maintenance and differences between platforms. -

@Wisecrack not true, europe is now taking fees according to the customers home, no longer the companies... Not that easy today

OH, you're talking about VAT, not the fee to apply to google or apple's stores. Derp.

One very important thing.
Just thought about getting a supporter today. Clicked the button on my Android, and then stopped back.
As app developer I know, there is a 30-40% fee according to the platform for selling this.
Then I tried on the webpage, my thought behind was, your getting the full money. No possiblity there.
Is that because of tax reasons? I would be glad to support you.
