itsfhm3938y@champion01 in the state of JavaScript today - everything is old school. For now Ill use whatever framework I need to, and use my spare time to upskill vanilla JavaScript, es6, and programming fundamentals that we frontend developers need to master.

zzguy6028yLearned React on my own last year, still stuck in backbone world at the day job. Which tbh, is fine, I like backbone even if its kinda old school. Its simple and flexible, maybe too simple sometimes, I guess. I've even found a way to make it act a bit like the flux architecture.

itsfhm3938y@zzguy that's cool, for me it sucks cause I feel so demotivated to just now start learning a dying framework, but hey there's always after hours for the "cutting edge" 💪🏻

Backbone is the first framework part came into JavaScript and imposed the importance of MVC in front end.
Angular and React is two channel which grows in own channels.
In you are interested in functional reactive programming and to be best class in all part then go with React environment
If you need to meet deadlines and need to keep your team who has strong typed language experience, happiest then go with Angular

So my previous job primarily involved angular. Went out to find a new exciting job, and somehow, I ended up being this dude. The reverse hipster. I'm not even mad.
