    I learned English by watching Stargate in my native language with English subtitles.

    One common behavior among non-native English speakers is the tendency to forget articles(a/an/the). For example, in your devrant profile, it says, "I am software developer." This is a dead giveaway to a native speaker that you don't speak English natively. If it said, "I am a software developer," nobody would guess you're not a native speaker.

    Small touches like that make a massive difference.

    What @Bahua said. Also, mind the pluralization of nouns in tech and business jargon:

    Ex:
    The Code v The codes
    Learning vs Learnings

    ^ these are known as mass nouns (nouns that can't be counted). They can only be counted when paired with something that indicates multiple sets of them, ex:
    "The nuclear football requires two codes."

    In the case of learning, it's only a noun in archaic form, and is only a verb in other cases.

    English is awful, btw. ☺️

    @Ranchu that's the nerdiest thing I've ever heard and I love it. That's dirty talk.

    If you already understand English, then you're half way there... just need to practice talking to someone.

    If you like games, try playing online on some USA server. At first there gonna be some "trolls" but sooner or later you'll find someone to have some good dialog.

    And one more advice if you allow me... Every time that you hear (or read) some new word, try to put that in practice during your conversations, that away that world will be stuck in your "mental dictionary".

    @Creep yes comrade, absolutely.

    (No crap though, it works out very efficiently, I'm at the top of my course at the moment)
