I don't think I'm sensitive to smells but I know you're not alone.
If you smell it while not touching the other person, it's too much parfume. Just keep good hygiene so you don't have to hide your smell under stronger smells. -

It's good to know that I am not the only one with the problem. I always need to have good hygiene due to above mention problem.
Who determine that you have to wear perfume at party? What is wrong with the natural smell anyway?
I remember one time that I have to go buy perfume for someone at the perfume shop and the experience drain me quite a lot. Oh, the sacrifice I have done for my friends and family.
There are some social protocols I have to follow even though I don't like and don't care much about it. -
@mr-user you only get rid of social protocols when you stop following them. The smell cultures are also very different among different parts of the world.

Maybe it a medical problem since I don't remember being sensitive to smell when I am younger.
I don't even know what's the smell cultures are since nobody talks about it.I think everyone just go along it (I don't even know the rules they follow, even if there is a rule to it) -
@mr-user the difference between culture and the law is that culture doesn't have to be written down
-
mr-user13495y@electrineer
I just literally define culture.I mean I don't understand the smell culture in my culture. -
I can sometimes find it over-bearing. I just remind myself that it smells better than body odour and farts

@rutee07 can confirm. Rutee does not need to stand in his legs if he doesn't want to.

pmso4175yI really hate parfumes with synthetic odors, they smell weird and really bad.
I use parfumes with natural odors (like orange or lemon) (most times, made by myself).
And the funny part is that everyone ask what parfume I'm using, because they love it.
WHY DO YOU USE A PARFUM THAT SMELLS BAD LIKE DIESEL OR SOME INDESCRITIVE THING? -
Deodorant. Anything else is a waste of time and money. Except maybe the shoe polish thing, that one's on you.
-
@mr-user I'm in a similar boat as you, but maybe a little more intense, so you definitely aren't alone. Perfumes, collognes, really any kinds of strong odors give me really bad migraines that can last days even when treated with my medicine. Usually if I smell someone who has some sort of that stuff on I'm out of the room, or try to get away as quickly as possible.
-
I totally understand this, I can smell the alcohols and it makes my nose scream in protest and makes me cringe as a result.

mr-user13495yBy reading your guy comment I remember that fart/floral bomb prank we used to prank each other at schools.
