Jung5525yActually I buy domain for my imagined or planned projects earlier to proper paper work and business model. So everyone must have similar case
-
@Jung
Hoarders are the tools that buy domains people might want solely for the purpose of treating them like real estate. Their only intent is reselling then for 10k times times their actual worth. -
@sladuled in fact it doesn't matter. i built a tool to find domains that do not respond quickly with inspirational option but fucking every single nice one is taken. i'd love to have void.net but they offer it for five times the most optimistic estimated value (i'd still not pay). could not resist to politely insult these assholes.

@erroronline1 I know, this sux in general, but I was curious about what you are after..
And holy fuck! I feel sorry for you.. -
Resellers ruin everything. Domains, clothing, sneakers, electronics, art...everything where there's a limited supply you'll find people with more capital than you hoarding the things you want/need so they can make more money. They've got the funds, time and resources to wait it out so you end up taking the L or giving in.
I'll bring some knives, too. -
Here, here! Knives aplenty.
Did you contact them about a "maintenance lease option"?
They're paying x amount of money to hold onto that domain, as well as many others.
If they had an option to 're-lease' that domain to someone else, for a small fee above the yearly cost of reregistering, it would mean more
long term prospects, and lowering the cost of maintaining their portfolio.
Instead of everyone just going out and coming up with a different project/company name based on real domain availability. -
@Wisecrack i suggested i would free them from their bonds. but i think greed made them think someone will pay the price reimbursing some of these monthly fees.
the domain option coul have been covered by my free inclusive domains of my webhoster so your idea would not be the option for me here.
i hope all the domain hoarders die a slow painful horrible death.
