    This translates to:
    "Do not try to improve a program. Make a new one from scratch."

    Which means we will only have 1 version of any program. Windows comes out, there is a bug, rewrite the whole thing.

    P.S. this does not mean this quote doesn't have any truth (as it can be applicable to certain scenarios) but it does mean dont try to apply it to everything.

    Change is always part of creation. I'm not sure we ever got good software (or anything else for that matter) from people who don't make revisions and update their stuff

    I think this fits well in the context of software refactoring. Sometimes cleaning up existing code just isn't practical.
