Force yourself to do small tasks and one at a time then move away. As time goes you’ll make progress that hopefully will motivate you to come back to your project. This is what works for me anyways.

I just sit down at 7am, and don't stop until I get tired. Usually around 12 hours later. My solution is discipline and focus, bc children and a family.
If that doesn't work, set yourself microdeadlines throughout the day. Buy a tomato timer. Create numerous subtasks with small durations. Hire someone to nag you regularly.
Plenty will chime in with some Marie Condo bullshit about tricking yourself to do something, or getting dressed and creating separate spaces and eating on a schedule and making sure to exercise regularly, brush 3 times a day and get 8 glasses of water.
In the end, it just boils down to you care or you don't. If you don't care, very little will get you moving. -
deliwa3225yDo what you like and accumulate motivation over time. For me it was (and it is) writing music, making digital art

@RISHABH1610 if you have to have something done by a certain day it tricks your brain into thinking about it more. And barely reasonable I’d like the minimum amount of time you think it would take to complete. Doesn’t work for everyone in my experience. But it does help me in some cases So even if it’s a personal project. Give it an arbitrary deadline and see if it helps you work on it
I have lost all motivation for coding.....I have my pet projects pending. During this lockdown i decided to get work done, but for some reason i just can't get my ass working and keep wasting time.
How do you guys keep yourself motivated?
