This is what I’ve got on LinkedIn today People are getting creative, not sure how to respond to that. I am curious to see what this scam is all about 🤷♂️
Dear PappyHans,
I hope this email finds you well and safe. My name is **** and I work for ******, a leading expert network company based in New York. I am currently working with a client who is conducting a project and needs expertise on Digital Engineering - ***** .
After some research I did regarding the topic, I concluded that you would be a great fit for this project, given your experience.
Please, let me know if you would be willing to share your expertise on this subject through a paid phone consultation. For your input and time, you will be compensated with a fee that you can set yourself. As a reference – the average rate of our consultations is around 400$/hour.
It is essential to note that in no way will you be asked to discuss your current employer nor any kind of confidential information during the phone consultation.
Should you be interested in this subject, I would be more than happy to address any questions regarding the topic on LinkedIn or by phone
Kind Regards

* KISS (keep it super simple)
* don’t try solve a problem you don’t already have
* admit if you messed up. We can solve a problem early and minimise the damage. People should never be scared to admit when they mess up. No one is perfect.
* voice your opinion. You’d be surprised how helpful this can be to your team, as we need to look at things from all angles.
* help your team. If you see something wrong, make the team aware of it.
* ask if unsure, don’t assume8 -
Needed a code review urgently. As I’m the only mobile dev in my team I posted my request in a mobile group channel on Slack asking for someone to take a look. I used @here to notify everyone that’s currently online and I got slammed for using @here in the channel because people got a bloody notification. Grow a pair and stop being a fucking snowflakes. This is a company Slack channel and I am asking you to take a look at company critical PR why wouldn’t I use @here19

Hi everyone,
One question is constantly popping in my head and I keep fighting to figure out how to answer.
So here it is:
Are you for or agains a password manager to store all your passwords?
P.S.
I am using a paid password manager, but keep asking myself is it really worth it, and am I compromising all my passwords if someone is willing to spend some time and hack my vaults. On the other hand the convenience and benefit of having all passwords in one place and also using different strong passwords for each of my accounts protects me from a weak security implementation on any third party service I use, because I am not re-using the same password everywhere.12 -
This remote agency that we use to help us build our mobile app is taking the piss out of us. They always have stupid questions, more stupid questions and on top of that at least they don’t work fast. So a task that should take a day it takes them a week and when they deliver it’s not exactly what we’re asking. Despite the fact that they’ve already asked me tons of questions they went ahead and implemented something I haven’t asked for because they thought it’s better. Well guess what read your fucking requirement documents that I spent 2 days writing. It’s all there bullet point by bullet point including the way it should work with examples and justification plus a flow charts to make it super fucking clear. It must be their business model to fuck around, stay on the project for as long as possible and ask for more money. They can’t be that stupid.5

The moment when the UI designers had included their design as a zeplin link in your Jira story. You finished coding it, the designers made changes to it and expected me to magically know about it.2
