@Letmecode I'm lucky in that I really like my current job and colleagues... just know my old one knows my user name haha!

Anonymity is important, in terms of being able to post your rants about your clients, co-workers, past employers etc without fear of it being used against you or biting you in the ass at some future date. Others don't mind there accounts being traceable to their identity, because they don't post anything risky, and that's fine too. Having the ability to change your username could effectively make this less of a friendly and open, often funny community. There's possibly a case for a 1 time change within a grace period of signing up, say 1 month. I say this because I registered initially with my company name and realised shortly after that it wasn't necessarily a good idea, I requested a change for legitimate reasons and they kindly obliged.

shaki3538yIf you want to change your username just dump your old one and create a new account.
Also no one posts names and stuff so if that client/coworker feels targeted then they better change their attitude and realize what kind assholes they are. -
dfox426038yIf you email us you can change your username, but do not let that be a false sense of security. If someone had seen your account before they might know your user id, and hence they can still find your account even if you change your username.
Username changes should be a feature. Especially after changing jobs, or just wanting a change. Dangerous app this. Brilliant. But dangerous!
