Slowly I am strongly considering changing the company. Somehow our management is losing its focus on reality. On the one hand, the management doesn't care one bit about what problems we have, especially when we have issues with other teams, which makes it impossible to finish our (necessary) features. But when the management wants something, everything has to be completed immediately and preferably yesterday.
We work in our team (and in almost the entire development) according to Scrum, so we are organized in sprints. However, our CTO thinks that none of this matters and that the whole planning has to be thrown out just because he wants a small (absolutely stupid) feature.
And then, our supervisor thinks he has to force us to do things that are entirely irrelevant for the team. We wouldn't have any advantage and would just be the henchmen of others.
And then there's a neighboring team that refuses to make any progress and keeps blocking everything. But somehow it's management's favorite team and can simply (unofficially) decide about other teams.
Honestly, I'm pretty pissed off now, and I'm not in the mood for that crap anymore.

"And then there's a neighboring team that refuses to make any progress and keeps blocking everything. But somehow it's management's favorite team"

Of course it is, they suck management's cock by focusing on granting their wishes. That they therefore lack the time to help others, which makes the others look even worse, is a welcome byproduct.

The only winning move is not to play. Leave, and find a company that values cooperation over management orgasms.

That kind if culture thrives until all the good people leave then the arse licking brown tongues start on each other, the company then folds. The shit people then leach onto other companies sucking out the blood, unless you have a culture that despises it which are few and far between, hence self employment where the only wankers you have to deal with are the clients.

This happened once at a hostile workplace and it was the biggest power play. Talk to the manager first.

Start organizing a labour union or see if you can get other people to join a relevant one. Most times unionizing is a protected right. It will take a bit of work to start up but as soon as the company gets wind of a union they will do everything they can to avoid having a union because the union can legally demand that they fix things.

“We want to work in sustainable patterns. We want teams to have equal treatment. We want standard wage levels for positions.”

Standard wages is the one they panic on because some snowflakes get paid a lot more for kissing their asses.
