Graduated with an Information Technology degree and a friend of mine (who is from a non technical background) thinks I'll be working as a tech support. FML. Then later hits me up with a request to make an app for her startup. Just makes me realise people are so dumb.

    just let them think what they think and don't give a fuck It's really not that difficult lmao. Tell them if you're gonna make an app for them it'll cost $75k and they'll fuck off.

    Not sure why tech support has such a bad rep. Someone has to do it, and it's not all 'Have you tried turning it off and on again?' with a Sligo accent either, you can find pretty interesting work with decent pay.

    That said, if you are in it to be a dev, go for it!
