@thmnmlst I don't think there is enough space here to debate the logical flaws of a omnipotent being as defined by the religions of the world :-)

On a other note however, I believe the word Atheist is misused, I think most of the devs and guys in the science community are rather agnostic than atheists.

It was and still is impossible to prove or deny the existance of god up to this moment.

What seperates us from religious folk is that the definite answer in either way would not shatter our world.

Wether god exists or not, World and life on it, runs its' course independent of the answer to the question and knowing it would not change a thing.

We don't need to believe in an all powerful being that judges your every move and dictates morals to you to be good people.

We're perfectly capable of choosing best options ourself while navigating our life as if have only one! and I feel kinda sad for those who need to follow someone else instead of puting faith in themselves.

But then again, my name is Ori, which translates to God from Latin.

Life and death, light and darkness, hope and despair. The rift was created, and on that day, the Ori were born!
