When you realise earlier programmers programmed without an IDE

Some of my friends do it to this very day!

IDEs really just get in the way half of the time

They even punched the shit out of their pc (programming using punch card)

so far i can safely say ides is making bad and lazy developers .... auto completion. . code generation and syntax check is a norm now a days ???
i know sse who have never used console cmd or terminal to compile or run the code

@maces exactly, I mean what kind dev are you if you don't know all the libraries of Java or .NET like the back of your hand

@tahnik just for gigs currently am a .net developer my senior don't know what a template engine is in mvc ... he just know that he is writing c# in html files XD ...razor ...never heard of it

Yeah, I don't use an ide either, if I can avoid it...
